The language introduced is centred around realistic, everyday situations and the course covers all four of the basic skills - listening and speaking, reading and writing. The course book contains 25 thematic and carefully graded units, and covers a variety of everyday topics, progressing from introducing yourself to replying to an advertisement or writing a CV.
The emphasis is on communication throughout, with important language structures introduced through dialogues on the accompanying recording. The audio material is available separately on two 75-minute CDs or cassettes or together with the book in a pack.
